Preliminary voting results show Ohioans approved 63 of 99 local school funding issues on the ballot in Ohio’s 2020 Primary Election, according to the Ohio School Boards Association’s (OSBA) levy results database.
Cuyahoga County had seven such funding requests, with five passing in Brooklyn City, Lakewood City, Olmsted Falls City, Parma City and South Euclid-Lyndhurst school districts; voters rejected a Cleveland Heights-University Heights City Schools current expenses levy and a Euclid City emergency levy.
Portage County saw five requests, with success for a construction levy in Kent City Schools, current expenses levy in Aurora City Schools and emergency levy in Rootstown Schools, but losses for a general improvements levy in Windham Exempted Village Schools and current expenses levy in Waterloo Local Schools.
