Mayor Frank Jackson’s administration said Ohio notified Cleveland on Monday that nine more residents tested positive for coronavirus – this raises the total for Cleveland to 110. One person has died.
The Cleveland cases are among 493 cases the state has reported for Cuyahoga County. Four people have died.
According to News 5 Cleveland, Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish said he plans to spend another $1 million to buy personal protective equipment to meet what he called a "tremendous need" during the COVID-19 pandemic. Budish said the latest authorization is in addition to the $1 million announced last week.If you have personal protective equipment you would like to donate, the county's drop-off center is located at 2501 Harvard Avenue in Newburgh Heights. It is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
