Meet Me at the Bend
Time & Location
About the Event
Driven by a network of public, private, and community stakeholders, the Irishtown Bend project is emblematic of how our region is successfully collaborating to solve major infrastructure challenges, support economic growth, and improve quality of life for all Greater Clevelanders.
Join us for a drink, a bite to eat, and a casual conversation with many of the project’s key partners while taking in the sweeping view of the 18-acre Irishtown Bend hillside from across the Cuyahoga River. You’ll have the opportunity to engage with the people directly involved in this complex investment and hear updates on its numerous components, including the construction of new bulkheads along the river, the stabilization of the slope, the relocation of a key roadway, the replacement of major underground utilities, and enhancements to adjacent transit and trail connections – all of which are being coordinated to provide the literal foundation for a new iconic riverfront park.
This event will be hosted at the Cleveland Rowing Foundation, however parking and entrance is located at Merwin’s Wharf – 1785 Merwin Ave.
